Florence Regional Arts Alliance (FRAA) is seeking Board Members with the desire to help Florence and the surrounding region thrive through the arts. FRAA is seeking people with a diverse array of talents/skills. Examples of this would be in the areas of business; marketing; finance; people skills; grant writing, and the most important quality – Enthusiasm for the wide variety of arts that Florence has to offer.
You do not need to be an artist just appreciate how art can help our community.
FRAA would also like to welcome Board members representing different types of art, such as poetry and writing, dance, culinary arts, drama, and all types of visual arts. Non-profit knowledge is a bonus, but not required.
The FRAA Board meets once a month and conducts the business of the organization, including communication with the total FRAA membership. In addition, board members are required to serve on one or more committees, assist with fundraising, promote FRAA's events and art programs and ensure FRAA is a fiscally sound organization.
Our nominating committee will review applications, meet with the applicants and then bring to the Board for review and consideration.
